we bought 6 eggs to put under our broody. 2 got broken early on. One hatched 2 days ago but didn't fully make it out of the shell so it didn't survive. The remaining 3 have been under her for 26 days now. I tried candling them tonight but couldn't see light through 2 of them but saw a little light on one half of the egg on the long side. What to do? Let them stay under longer?

Two broken-one hatched at 24 days. Chicken eggs? If so they should have hatched at 21 days. I suspect that your broody hen may have done a poor job at incubating eggs. Are you sure of the dates? Nothing lost by waiting a bit longer but I doubt anything more hatches.

Yes chicken eggs...sorry. I guess I was wrong when the 1 hatched. We put them under her on the evening of 5/27. The one half hatched out of the shell on 6/18. Now it's 6/22 and she's still sitting in the other 3. She was a great momma last time but we only had 1 fertile egg under her (the other 3 turned out not to be fertile). This time we ordered 6 eggs from Meyer hatchery. My luck if I had ordered more then all of them would have hatched lol.
