I wanted to know how many days it takes your peafowl to hatch. Mine always took 28 days until we got a GQF and I heard peeping a few days early. One had hatched almost completely in the turning rack

I wanted to know if how many days it takes for you guys. Incubation is one of the few areas I still dont have the hang of and I want to know more.

I never incubated any so no help here, sorry. One of the more experienced pea-people will know.

Edited to add: I've had Blue Andalusian chicks hatch out 2 days early, & my last hatch, which was Blue Orpingtons, I had a pip as I was moving them off the auto-turner & they hatched a day early, too! I have a Hovnabator.

I alway say 28 days, but looks like alot of people in the Southern State say 26 days.
One thing if incubator on the higher temp. could make eggs hatch early.

I live in the Tx Panhandle ( Rolling Plains ), so 28 days? I'll probably be incubating them in a GQF. But might set them in my 1588.
