26 week old flock and no eggs? Is something wrong?

That's early!
What time does the sun set?
You know they do need 8 hours of darkness.

Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.

Do you recommend using a light?

I would honestly just wait. I know it’s hard but I think it’s better for them in the long term. They will lay when they and their bodies are ready and I think it’s healthy for them to take breaks in the winter (and they’ve definitely earned it) so I don’t supplement light. I think spring chicks sometimes take longer to lay because my first birds were fall chicks and they laid real early cause it was going into spring whereas the spring chicks didn’t start until they were like 9 months old. Well, the Leghorn started earlier LOL

As I stated in an earlier post, they are on the roost by 4pm this time of year.

By 4:30, you can't see what you're doing in the coop, and total dark by 5. As the days get longer, the light gets adjusted.
