26 weeks old BA first egg!

Hello all,

I posted a couple of weeks back about our first time, 10 BA pullets, 25 weeks old not laying yet.

Well our day arrived! Our first egg!

The whole family is super excited! Thank you all for being supportive and helping us be patient.

Now we wait to see how many more pullets will start to lay.

We have two BA's on their 24th week this week. They are huge but have yet to lay anything. Their combs are pretty red so it should not be to much longer. Congrats on the first egg.

We thought the same. It took a couple of weeks more than we thought. So as many people have said, try to be patient as it will happen eventually.

We have 4 others laying now. We are pretty patient. I know in the weeks to come we will have so many eggs we not know what to do with them...lol.
