I think today is day 20. My temps where pretty bad (97F) since my bulb was starting to die. Put a new one in and back up to 99F. I usually have bad luck with quail.

Those are the 4 in the brooder. Waiting for the other 1 to fluff up.

I'm still waiting on my 100 eggs that were supposed to be shipped
2 weeks ago.

I'm not happy.


But, My Denzuli Long Crowers all candled well and I have 40 of my own
quail and 7 of my own silkies in my LG now. My Brinsea is going to
be the hatcher this time around. People can say what they want about
Little Giants but mine kicks rooster butt.

is there anything "special" bout hatchin quail,,,, other then the day amount,,,, thats not the same as chickens?

PP gave you back the octagon? I thought you would never get that back Lol! I like the long crowers but they would be shot where I am at. I hope you get your quail eggs. If you dont get them you can file a claim.


Lol 1much. I would not take them if you paid me.... well maybe if you paid a good amount. Dont forget that I will be selling my top hatch next year after the quail swap.
