28 Hens Laying 753 Eggs For January! Woo Hoo!

We just tallied up our egg production for the month and came out at 753 from 28 hens of laying age. Just to keep up with current orders for eggs we need to hit at least 1000 per month. That is our next big goal. This all started with 2 chickens. It's a disease I tell you....

I got 138 eggs for Jan. 19 should be laying, but apparently I have a bunch of Winter freeloaders! To be fair though, a few of them just started laying in Dec. and the beginning of Jan.

I have 27 hens, and they laid 754 eggs this month!

Oh no! I have 29 potential layers for the spring. I don't want that many eggs!!!!!!!!!

My 6 buff orpingtons laid 127 eggs this month. My 2 EE's started laying at the end of the month and they laid 10 eggs total.
