28 Very Sick Peafowl at Feed Store!

Any update?

When I go there tomorrow I'll see if the owner is there and do a head count. Last night was pretty cold for here, hope they all lived.

I would hate to see a buyer get those sick birds I hope that something can be done about that. Poor birds.

Update... Something or someone lit a fire under the owner, lol, 'cause the area is now taped off to keep people away from the sick birds, they have heat lamps and they are getting Tylan injections. Sadly, though, they lost two and there are a few more that don't look long for this world.

Perhaps you were not the only one that made some phone calls, sometimes the numbers add up and they gotta do something.

Update - I was there last week and they hadn't lost any more.

They're all sick again. They lost one last week, so current head count is 25. That's three in less than a year.

Just why do they have peafowl at the feed store and how do they loose so many and still have many left?

They lost three since I started this thread and thank God haven't hatched any chicks this year. Chickens chicks and turkey poults they lose all the time. Not sure why he has so many and never sells them.

Forgot to say someone gave/sold them a hen and her two chicks. They're in a different pen, so they might not get sick.

Now the Mama and chicks sick.

I did a head count a few days ago and they're now minus seven. Seven dead peas in one year and more look like they aren't long for this world.
