If anyone is traveling from the east along the parkway(80W), you are very welcome to follow me on from Somerset since you will be going through here anyway.

Hope he's okay at the lake.

ETA: I'm going to catch Buddy, my rosecomb-something or other rooster, so you can take him there for me next time I see you. Might be at CS, might be sooner. But I can't keep him and don't want to sell him for 'dumplings'...he's a pretty sweet boy

Bill fell in love with Chanty even though he still doesn't have his glorious tail(it's just starting to grow back) from the dog attacks. He still thought Chanty was beautiful! It was like Christmas for them when I showed up there with Chanty and all the excess BOs. Bill right away took the carrier of chicks and carefully placed them one by one on the perches in their coop... Course as soon as he stepped out they all flew down and started scratching. I'll be happy to deliver your roo to them! They will love it!!

Oh wait a minute, on the Fred Thrasher print... It will be used for the raffle drawing again. I just remembered that was what we used it for to help Shelley and her dad with costs and the use of his pasture for this. Shelley will decide on cost of raffle tickets since it will be for their benefit. Shelley didn't you have a roll of tickets last year? If need be I can have Cortni design and print a bunch of tickets for the raffle.

For anyone that has not heard of Fred Thrasher, he is the top artist in Kentucky and folks from all over Ky and the US have his prints. He is famous for nostalgic scenes, cabins in different seasons etc... The prints are limited edition which means once sold out there won't be any more of that particular print which in turn makes the value rise. They usually sell out of the frame shops, print only, for 65.00 Artist proof, and 50.00 signed and numbered. You can go to www.thrasherprints.com to see his work.

I don't think we had a roll of tickets, I think we just 'made' some. So if you want to have Cortni print some that would be fine. I don't remember if you took the name tags with you or if I kept them? I think you took them, either way I don't have them anymore. So if we want to have name tags we'll need some.

I think I can make it. I can bring a couple of cases of soda and maybe some chips. I might have some juvenile blue wheaten Ameraucana chicks, bantam cochin, black orpington roosters chicks, olive egger and barnyard mix. I'm looking for silkies

Idea for game- guess the breed

What color silkies are you looking for? I have 1 white youngster right now with some more eggs in the incubator. My black hen is the only one laying right now so her chicks should be blue.

ETA: I added your info to the first post
