This is a thread for many flocks. Here is the 1st thread. Please indicate which flock you are RPing on when you begin Follow all rules for the flock that you are RPing in Follow all BYC rules(I shouldn't need to say that) MidnightFlock is completely different to the other flocks. The leader is always a female, and her oldest daughter is the heir. The commander is very important; they make sure that everything is going how it should. The commander also trains the leader’s chicks. The commander has very limited freedom, as they must ask for permission to do anything. MidnightFlock birds do not believe in StarFlock, they simply believe that they are just there. They are taught not to question their existence. Joining Form: Name: Rank: Breed & Colour: Gender: Personality: History: Flock: Other: Username: The Ranks (in order of importance): Leader (leader of the flock) Leader’s Mate (does some things to lead the flock, but not much) Commander (second in command, very important) Heir (the next in line to the throne, they are often murdered by younger siblings) Dungeon Master (they oversee the dungeons) Healers (usually around 2 or 3, they heal any flock members in need of healing) Tree Scouts (around 5, they live in the trees and watch the borders) Warriors (they are trained to fight very well. They are constantly prepared for war) Brooders (they hatch and raise stolen eggs [and other hen’s eggs] and raise the chicks to 3 days old) Overseers (They look after the chicks from when they are 3 days to when they are one moon old. They are usually not very nice) Hatches (eggs and chicks under 3 days after hatching, they are looked after by the brooders) Small Ones (aged from 3 days to 1 moon. They are cared for by the Overseers) Leader: MidnightGrace: She is the great-great-granddaughter of FireStrike and MidnightGinger. She is mainly a Conchin/Buff Orpington cross, but there are also other breeds in her blood. She is a light buff colour. She is the same as any other MidnightFlock leader, cunning, quick, ruthless. (NixNoodleNumbat) Leader’s Mate: EternalGlory: He is related to QuickTalon. White leghorn rooster.(NixNoodleNumbat) Commander: BlueStone: A silver laced polish hen. She is mysterious, and keeps to herself. She does not like to talk often. There are many rumours about her history.(OwlLover) Heirs (in order of succession): MidnightRose: A crossbreed hen that is mainly white, but a little bit buff in some areas.(NixNoodleNumbat) Dungeon Master: JetTrail: Silver seabright rooster. SunlitMystery's sister.(NixNoodleNumbat) BlueLavender: Blue/lavender cross silkie hen.(NixNoodleNumbat) Small Ones: MusicalEcho: Silver seabright pullet.(NixNoodleNumbat) Clutches: MidnightFlock Maps & Places: FeatherFlock So the FeatherFlock is a little different, the rooster does the lead the flock but really all he can control is the army, the hen though does most of the control, she says when to and how far to leave the stream, where to forage, mostly the stuff that may seem minor but a mistake will wipe out the flock. The roosters oldest daughter is always the 1st sargeant, she makes sure the army is in shape, and there are enough chickens, she handles things about the army, not including who goes in war and when. The rooster does that. She will also double check her mother choices, looking for a mistake, though she will hardly find one. Ranks: Lead Rooster: controls the army Lead Hen, roosters mate: takes care of the flock, making sure they wont run out of food, water etc 1st Sargeant: makes sure the army is in place, enough, double checks the hens orders, Killers: Cruel, almost always roosters, that take care of prisoners, and searches battle feilds for wounded warriors and kills them, unless accompinianed by a healer Warrior: warrior, usually young roosters but hens commonly take place Healer: Goes out with Killers and says wether or not the warrior can be healed Brooders: Hatches and rears chicks until their 5 weeks Rearer: They train chicks and establish what proffession they will have, or if they will be declared useless where they will be forced to be a warrior SongFlock Much like MoonFlock, who they converted, ThunderFlock believes in the Avian Goddess's existence and creations, but they take it to a much more serious level. ThunderFlock originated from an ancient mountain flock known as the ThunderStorm, who were the first to believe in the Avian Goddess and were also said to be some of the first birds ever created by her. Since the ancient times, hens with ThunderStorm blood have became Priestesses, as they are said to be the Avian Goddess's daughters. ThunderFlock is most likely the most peaceful flock a chicken will come across in its lifetime. They don't believe in killing, and take this to not eating any living things, other than worms or grubs. Nectar is holy, as it is what hummingbirds feed on, therefore only Priestesses and chicks who are being initiated can consume it. The ThunderStorm Code: 1. Be kind to those less fortunate than yourself, help them in times of need no matter who they are. Their lives depend upon you, and the Avian Goddess expects you to do this. 2. Do not kill any living things other than worms, unless you are a High Priestess, Peacekeeper, or Tree Scout. Anyone who violates this rule will be banished from the flock. 3. Respect yours Elders and Priestesses. They take much effort into running your flock. 4. Nectar is holy and is only to be consumed by chicks or Priestesses in ceremonies. 5. In order to qualify as a High Priestess or Priestess of Honor, you must fit into the following criteria: you’re over a year old and the other Elders and Priestesses agree that you are fit to lead. 6. Kindness will get you far in life. Treat all of the Avian Goddess’s creatures like your own kin. The Ranks (in order of importance): High Priestess (the leader of the flock; she is always a hen. Must be over a year old and cannot have a mate or chicks while employed. To signify that she is a High Priestess, her talons are encrusted in gold. Name must end in -Storm) Priestess of Honor (the deputy of the flock, who helps the High Priestess lead and will take over once the High Priestess dies. She also cannot have chicks or a mate and must be over a year old.) Priestesses (all hens with ThunderStorm blood become these. They are said to be daughters of the Avian Goddess. They are the ones who go out of their way to help those in need and spread their religion through peace, a bit like missionaries. When not deployed, they are treated a bit like Princesses. They may have mates and chicks, but they may only ever have one clutch. To show that they are truly Priestesses, a ruby shard is embedded in each of their legs. They refer to each other as sisters.) Elders (the oldest, wisest birds of the flock. After a bird is five years old or extremely skilled, they are considered a senior and are given the opportunity to retire and become an Elder. Elders are often used as mentors if in good condition.) Chicks (chickens under six moons of age.) Mothers (the broody hens who care for their chicks.) Head Peacekeeper (s/he leads the Peacekeepers, and will often mentor apprentices.) Healer (the ‘doctor’ of the clan. They heal the sick and wounded. There may be up to three of these.) Peacekeepers (they are the ones who are deployed in battles, and keep the flock safe from harm. Along with the Head Peacekeeper, Tree Scouts, and High Priestess, they are the only ones allowed to kill, but are only allowed to do so when necessary, as are the other three ranks.) Tree Scouts (they guard the flock from the trees, and make sure no one is trying to enter the territory without permission or hurt anyone. They are also sometimes used as spies or ‘stealth attackers’ during wars. There can be up to five of these.) Apprentices (chickens over six moons of age that are training to become something.) Artisans (the ones who create trinkets for the marketplace. There are not very many of these.) Members: High Preistess: IceStorm: A tiny wheaten Modern Game bantam hen, with beautiful ember eyes and sharpened gold encrusted claws. A very sweet, understanding leader that will do anything for her people. Though small, she has a bold personality and will go out of her way to preform good deeds. Her leadership is widely celebrated and enjoyed. Her mother, a pure Modern Game bantam who escaped from her owners at a young age, and her father, a rooster with mostly Modern Game heritage who was hatched in the flock, hatched out two chicks, IceStorm (who was formerly known as IceCrystal) and LavenderClaw. IceStorm then grew into the very Priestess she is today. (Zinnia Hen) Preistess of Honor: Sandfeather: A hen larger than a bantam, yet smaller than a full-sized chicken. She has the build of a Sumatra hen, sandy blonde feathers, and cream colored legs. Friendly towards all of her flockmates, although she will occasionally bark orders upon others. She is indeed a powerful deputy. Sandfeather was raised and hatched normally within ThunderFlock, and is very strict about the ThunderStorm code if violated. (Zinnia-Hen) Preistesses: Name:RedWing: A large hen of dark red, with feathered black legs and a rose comb. Fun loving and casual, as well as a bit of a joker. Many enjoy her company and consider her a kind friend and role-model to the chicks. She was hatched and raised normally within ThunderFlock. (Zinnia-Hen) EagleFlight: A slim, and very beautiful white hen with expressive gold eyes. Her comb and wattles are a deep shade of red. Loyal to her elders and leader, as well as her religion. She is very trustworthy and does exactly what she is told to do. A bit of a perfectionist, too. Was hatched within the clan, and was the sole-survivor of a mountain lion attack that killed her whole family. She does not remember this or her family at all, however, as she was only a day old at the time. She was fostered by Lizardscale, an elder who she considers her mother. It has also to be noted that she is a wonderful flier. (Zinnia-Hen) Willowbranch: A tiny mottled Serama mix. Very sweet, and loves chicks. She is also quite intelligent. Her father, Goldbeak, and her mother, GhostHeart, hatched and raised her as a single chick. Unfortunately, GhostHeart recently died of old age, leaving her family devastated. Her mate is YellowClaw. (Zinnia-Hen) Riverleaf: A hen who bears close resemblance to an Ameraucana, with a muff, beard, and so forth. She has rich blue-grey feathers, black around her hackles, beard, and tail. Very shy, especially around roosters. She is still young and learning the ways of the Priestess. RedWing acts as her 'big sister', and helps her get accustomed to her rank's duties. She was born outside of the flock, to a rooster of ThunderFlock and a lone hen. When she grew old enough to make her own decisions, she left to live at ThunderFlock where she discovered she had ThunderStorm blood. (Zinnia-Hen) Elders: Fallentree: A dark brown Cochin-like rooster, whose only difference from one is his pea comb and lack of wattles. His eyes are grey-ish, and slightly blinded. Lacking in energy. He is a good soul, however, and enjoys mentoring apprentices. He lived in ThunderClan all his life. RedWing and FalconEyes are his chicks and Rosethorn is his mate. (Zinnia-Hen) IndigoRain: A wheaten Modern Game bantam hen, who was once beautiful when young. She is a great mentor, even at her old age, and loves to see her daughter's flock thrive. IndigoRain is very proud of ThunderFlock's many good deeds. She ran from her abusive breeders at nine months of age and discovered ThunderFlock, where she became a decorated Tree Scout and hatched out IceStorm and LavenderClaw with her mate, who is now deceased. (Zinnia-Hen) Goldbeak: A gold Serama-like rooster, with a delicate appearance. Friendly and easygoing, the type who gets along with anyone. He was born in ThunderFlock with three other siblings, who were all killed in a war years ago. He is a retired Tree Scout and his daughter is Willowbranch. (Zinnia-Hen) Chicks: Wavechick: A large, fluffy black cockerel who closely resembles his mother. He is brave, the leader of his siblings when playing outside or in the nursery. He always eats first and decides what to play. Whiteflame and Sundrop are his parents. (Zinnia-Hen) Blazechick: A pale brown and black cockerel. He's a Momma's boy who never wants to leave his mother, Sundrop, and loves his father, Whiteflame's, company. (Zinnia-Hen) Winterchick: Identical to her brother, Wavechick, aside from a small brown patch on her right wing. She enjoys playing with her siblings and is quite brave as well. Her parents are Sundrop and Whiteflame, and she was the first hatched chick of her brood. (Zinnia-Hen) Timberchick: Chick A mostly black cockeral, with a few dark brown patches. He is the smallest of his brood. He always listens to Wavechick's commands, and plays with him. Sundrop and Whiteflame are his parents. (Zinnia-Hen) Mothers: Sundrop: A black rumpless Araucana hen with piercing yellow eyes. Protective of her family. A bit of a worrier, who often assumes the worst. She was born a rogue, and left her family not long ago in search of a flock. She quickly got acquainted with ThunderFlock and became a Peacekeeper, and not long after, a mother with her own clutch of chicks. (Zinnia-Hen) Healer: Oakroot: Identical in appearance to his brother, Whiteflame. Very quiet, and not always noticed. He is soft spoken and kind to his flockmates and patients, and enjoys helping those less fortunate. Born and raised normally with his siblings, IvyHeart and Whiteflame. (Zinnia-Hen) Head Peacekeeper: Villiar: Gold pyncheon rooster. He is small, yet loud. He takes his job very seriously. He can be flighty.(NixNoodleNumbat) Peacekeepers: YellowClaw Breed & Colour: A bantam Rhode Island Red Dark Cornish cross rooster, with lovely dark laced red feathers and a green tail. He is very strong and well-built for being so small. He is brave for his size, and isn't afraid to take on larger roosters or hens in battle. Though a little cocky when victorious, he is truly a kind rooster who will go out of his way to help the needy. He was born a loner and eventually joined ThunderFlock because he wanted to make himself useful. Willowbranch is his mate. (Zinnia-Hen) Whiteflame: A massive pale brown rooster who has to be twenty pounds at the least, with deadly sharp spurs and claws. Aside from his intimidating looks, he is a gentle giant who loves his children very much. Very wise at his young age, and very strong. Can be a bit lazy when not deployed. He was hatched and raised normally with his sister and brother, IvyHeart and Oakroot. Though his family has resided in ThunderFlock for generations now, they have no ThunderStorm blood. His mate is Sundrop.(Zinna-Hen) IvyHeart: A large, scarred up cream colored hen with a single sight-bearing eye, the other one left without a pupil. Tricky and smart, not very easy to fool. She's not one to get into trouble with either. History: She was raised normally with her two brothers, Oakroot and Whiteflame. As an apprentice, she encountered a coyote and barely survived the attack, leaving her with battle scars, vision in only one eye, and a bit of a short term memory at times. (Zinnia-Hen) Wheatfield: An older rooster, with light brown feathers and a large body, as well as a reddish tint to his hackle and saddle feathers. He is built like a game cock. Even if he is old enough to retire, he refuses to do so until he is serious injured or killed, and claims he still feels young. Although forceful and the type who can't have his way changed, he is outgoing and faithful towards his religion. His two children are Sandfeather and PhoenixFire. His family history reaches far back to the first ThunderStorm birds, and he is almost purely of ThunderStorm blood. (Zinnia-Hen) Elders: Fallentree: A dark brown Cochin-like rooster, whose only difference from one is his pea comb and lack of wattles. His eyes are grey-ish, and slightly blind. Lacking in energy. He is a good soul, however, and enjoys mentoring apprentices. Lived in ThunderClan all his life. RedWing and FalconEyes are his chicks and Rosethorn is his mate. (Zinnia-Hen) Chicks: Wavechick: A large, fluffy black chick who closely resembles his mother. Brave, the leader of his siblings when playing outside or in the nursery. He always eats first and decides what to play. Whiteflame and Sundrop are his parents. (Zinnia-Hen) Blazechick: A pale brown and black chick. (Zinnia-Hen) Timberchick: A mostly black chick, with a few dark brown patches. He is the smallest of his brood. Always listens to Wavechick's commands, and plays with him. Sundrop and Whiteflame are his parents. (Zinnia-Hen) Tree Scouts: Rosethorn: A senior Tree Scout, whose rich dark red feathers cover a good portion of her body, including her ashy spur-equipped legs. She is kind and willing to serve her flock at all times. Born and raised in ThunderFlock without any ThunderStorm blood. RedWing and FalconEyes are her chicks. Fallentree is her mate. (Zinnia-Hen) LavenderClaw: A wheaten Modern Game bantam rooster, whose large single comb flops to the side. He is quiet and reserved, as he doesn't like to be in the limelight, and is often seen alone or accompanied by one other. He was raised with his sister, IceStorm, normally. (Zinnia-Hen) Apprentices: Artisans: ShadowFlock SwiftFlock SwiftClan is home to quick, sure-footed warriors who protect peace and justice. They believe in StarClan, and follow the Warrior Code. Fighting is only used as a last resort, but when pressed, they are incredible warriors. SwiftClan warriors are very self-diciplined, patient and responsible, they honor life and defend the weak. Not every bird can become a SwiftClan warrior, one must train for years to be able to pass the tests. Bird that don't pass become assistants to the warriors and only fight in the gravest of situations as "civilian soldiers". BlackFlock SongFlock is very different from all the other flocks and likely one of the most evil, forceful flocks in existence. They are quick to kill the weak and only believe in force. They believe in killing the weak to make room for the strong. They believe that their two leaders are gods and call them The Chosen Ones. Ranks (in order from lowest to highest) The Chosen One: The leader of SongFlock. He is believed to be the one and only god on the planet. He is much more powerful than all the other birds; the only bird coming close to his power being The Chosen One's Mate. His word is law and he is often merciless. The Chosen One's Mate: Second in Command of SongFlock. She is believed to be the one and only goddess on the planet and thus is greatly respected. She is much more powerful than the other birds side for The Chosen One. Her word is law provided that The Chosen One approves of it and, too, is merciless. Shaman: The Healer of SongFlock. He/she is also respected, however not half to the extent of how much The Chosen Ones are. He/she is ordered to heal the flock when it is injured or ill. There is only one healer. Prison Master: He is the master of the prison, giving orders to the guards and leading them. He is also the one to ask for permission on what to do with captured prisoners. There is only one prison master, and he can only be a rooster. Assassins: The assassins are The Chosen One's personal warriors. They are often ordered to kill the leader's of other flocks that they are at war with. They must be very stealthy and be very agile. There can be up to 3 of these. Spies: Spies gather information from enemy flocks. They must be very stealthy to avoid getting caught and agile in the case that they are caught. They, like warriors, scouts, and messengers, raise chicks up to adulthood if they have been assigned to by The Chosen One. There can be up to 10 of these. Warriors: Warriors are the fighters in attacks. They are always prepared for war and raise chicks up to adulthood if they have been assigned by The Chosen One to do so. Scouts: Scouts guard the territory and will escort intruders should they enter it. They will also defend the territory until the more powerful warriors can arrive. They raise chicks up to adulthood like the warriors and spies if The Chosen One has assigned them to. Mothers: The mothers hatch and raise clutches of chicks until the chicks are 4 moons old. When they reach that age the mothers send them to The Chosen One, where he and his mate decide what they will be best at and who they assign to teach them. Messengers: They send messages back and forth to other flocks that they are not at war with and to The Chosen One. Guards: Guards guard the prison. They try to prevent prisoners from getting out and follow orders from the Prison Master. Apprentices: Chicks 4 moons of age who are in training to be a scout, warrior, or spy. Chicks: Chicks are raised by their mothers until they are 4 moons old. When they reach that age they are brought to The Chosen One who will assign them a warrior, spy, or scout to raise them up until they are 8 moons old, when they are considered officially as a "Warrior," "Scout," or "Spy." SongFlock Code: 1. The Chosen One's and The Chosen One's Mate's words are law and are to be obeyed at all costs. 2. Always ask permission from The Chosen One or The Chosen One's Mate before leaving SongFlock grounds 3. Shamans, messengers, and guards may not have a mate. If they are caught with one they will be punished with death. 4. Protect SongFlock with your life. 5. You are not allowed to have any friendships outside of SongFlock Members: The Chosen One: ThunderStar: Buff Laced Polish rooster. Harsh, merciless. No one knows about his history. (OwlLover) The Chosen One's Mate: PuffStar: Buff Laced Polish hen. Similar to ThunderStar. Like ThunderStar, her past is obscured with mystery. (OwlLover) Assasins: BlueThunder: Kosova Longcrower hen. Disinterested, seeming as if she is lost in another world. Was hatched by a mother after her egg was stolen from another flock (OwlLover) Warriors: IceFlame: Iowa Blue rooster. He is rough. Was hatched by a mother normally in SongFlock. (OwlLover) Sisters of the Marsh The sisters of the marsh are a group of hens. They are allies of the Brothers of Eldyn, as both groups have a similar purpose. The sisters refuse to fight, and are therefore not attacked. Code: A life is a life, and must be respected as one Respect all who have done you no wrong Chicks are the future, and must be nurtured and taught Follow the words of San'Cei in everything you think, do and say Becoming a 'Cei, an 'Aan or a 'Rhy Accept those for who they are There's nothing wrong with dreams 'Ceis 'Ceis are hens who have reached the highest status. They choose to live as a sister and stay at the marshland for their life. They are highly looked up to. Once a hen has become a 'Cei, she either adds 'Cei to the end of her name or takes on a new name. Hens who were born to an 'Aan add 'Cei to there name when they become a 'Cei. Hens who weren't must live in the marsh until they find their true name. 'Aans 'Aans are not considered as high as 'Ceis. They live in a village community between the brothers and the sisters. The one daughter who isn't sent to the 'Ceis is made to join a different flock as soon as she lays her first egg. 'Rhys 'Rhys travel around, spreading the word of Ghana and Eldoon, their godess and god. They sometimes travel in groups, but they usually travel by themselves. They are not allowed to have mates or chicks. Sisters in Training (Sometimes called 'Cefs, but not usually) The sisters in training are hens that are learning how to become a sister. They only are accepted once they lay their first egg. Sisters: 'Ceis: Orc'Cei: The lead 'Cei at the marsh. She is quite old. American game hen. (NixNoodleNumbat) Ela'Cei: A silver seabright hen.
