is this ok ?
i can't keep it steady at a higher level
there is no room in there for a sponge and i hate to keep opening it to put warmer water in the resevoirs
whaddaya think??

Is there a hole that you could fit a straw thru? I have a small funnel taped to a straw that I put down in one of the air holes and pour water in that way. Just make sure the eggs are out of the way. It should be up to at least 65 but 70 would be best.

Thanks guys!!!!!

this is my first time at incubating and there are 20 Silkie babies counting on me not to screw this up

I used the straw method threw the small vent holes and carefully fish it through the screen into the tray.I put 3 straws together, the take a forth straw and cut a small angle on one end.
Then I take a bottle of water that I can insert the straw down into and put my finger tip over the end. then I carefully insert the straw into the first three and release my finger and water runs into the bottom of the tray. You may have to do this 10 or 15 times but it works great and you dont have to open your unit. Hope this helps!

Stick a soaked wet rag in there along one of the walls, mist with a squirt bottle while lids open? Maybe turn the fan off if you can?
