2nd hatch need some help!!

This is our 2nd hatch and the eggs have been in the bator for 13 days now. We are using a turner for the first time on this hatch. I candled the last hatch just to see what the progression was like. I'm not candling as much like the last hatch. However I just candled for the first time and the eggs don't look like the last hatch. I'm candling them from the pointy end down. So my question's are..

Can I lay the eggs down and candle from the side view? Or do I keep them as they stand in the turner? Do to the egg turner will the development look different? Besides not turner the eggs a few times a day because of the turner do I need to be doing anything different?

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure we're doing things right!!

You can lay them on their sides and even look in the big end. Hens move them all around, so it won't hurt them to candle them. Everything else is fine.
