2nd Prolapsed Cloaca in 2 Months*update: She's laid a tiny egg???

I don't know what it is about mentioning the word hatchet to one's husband that becomes a cure-all in poultry.
I'm not saying Lola is cured but this morning when I went to check her she was fluffy and clean and full of looks suggesting that I would not be touching her butt again in the near future! She's outside, scratching in he run, chasing Winifred, Molly and Claree away from the veg we hive them every morning and just being a happy chicken. I'll continue to monitor her

I just wanted to update again and let everyone who helped me out know that Lola is doing fine and has been doing fine since my initial panic. She's back to being a fluffy butted, mean 'ol hen and the coop has their dictator back. No sign of poopy-butt or prolapse anywhere!
She's eating, laying and lounging in the big dirt holes they've all dug. No flies are hanging around her so I'm just going to chalk the black scab up to being just that, a scab probably from the fox or raccoon that paid them a visit weeks ago.

Thanks again for all your help!

I love the "good news" posts !
