3 1/2 week old EE... Roo?

Can you post pics of the chick standing naturally? Are you sure that's an EE? I'm seeing a single comb, no beard/muffs, and pink legs. I would have to agree that it is a cockerel though.

what about the other one, the feather colors are the same. Does it look pullet?

Ummmm, I think you have 2 Dorkings... The one is definitely a cockerel (large comb and black coming in on the chest). The other I'm not sure on the sex. If it stays that lighter color, it's a pullet. If it starts to develop a lot of black, then it's a cockerel.

oh boy. she did say she also said she had dorkings. I wonder if they got mixed up. oh i really wanted EE's

I would be tickled to have that kind of mix up... Dorkings are much more rare/unusual than EEs. True you won't get colored eggs (but there's no guarantee of that with EE's) but they will be lovely eye candy (in my opinion anyways).

I'm looking at dorkings online and it said you can color sex them. if so, they look like the pullet coloring... no? http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGD/Dorks/BRKDorks.html down near the bottom with color sexing silver/grey dorkings

All I can say is we can NOT catch that roo looking one at all! that thing is feisty! lol
