I just loaded 108 eggs in 3 bators. 9 are the BCM eggs are just got from e-bay. I let them set for 2 two after I got home. The temp in my truck was the same as that of the house. I picked them up verus shipping them. After 213 miles and 4 hours driving time, I will say they are nice DARK eggs, thank you Carla for the extras also. Anyhow, I placed 3 in each bator with a mix of other eggs. Each bator's temp is 100 and the humidity on 2 is 38 and the other is 40. If my hatch is as good as the last, my computer room will be full in a few weeks and the DW will be up in arms.

It may be time for a cabinet bator. Anyone out there with any plans for one. It must have a turner and hatching area.

Well I only have 1 bator loaded. Our wooden homemade looking cabinet one. I think it must have been a gqf kit or made from their parts, but its rough looking.

The only thing it is missing is the top tray.

Anyway, we're hatching easter eggers, white leghorns, barred rocks, rhode island reds and buffs from our own farm.

Next group will be speckled sussex and then hopefully also the first round of BCM's from the farm.

I've always had to turn eggs and it's weird to watch the cabinet rock the eggs....I feel disconnected from the process so I think I'll have to pull out a styrofoam incubator!

And I thought I had a lot of eggs! I have one almost loaded, there is 1 empty space in it

Another bator has 13 ducks due this weekend, then the other has 6 ducks I just set, and 12 golden lakenvelders that I just set. My problem is they are almost all shipped, and no matter how hard you try, they never arrive at the same time! I have eggs due to hatch January 10, 12, 13, 23, 25, and 27, then the last ducks are due Feb. 3!! Good thing I have another bator to hatch in!
