So if they all don’t hatch should I find baby chicks and sneak them under the mommas I heard they will sit until they have babys

I would get a few chicks to sneak under the mommas... that way they won't be fighting over the few chicks.

I picked up 3 chicks today slipped under mommas with success and 1 egg hatched and another one hatching right now so exciting one more to go

When I had the lone hatch of marans I pickup two easter eggers and 1 cream legbar to keep it company the marans was cockerel it and the EE went to auction will take the legbar soon

I was lucky enough to find 3 silkies but of course won’t know what they are until there older but that don’t really matter

So bad news the chick that was hatching didn’t make it all 3 moms peck it to death so I put the 4 in the brooder with heat lamp my Question is the baby chick that hatch today that’s just a day old do I try to get her to drink water and food or just wait a couple of days

Just keep chick feeder and waterer in the brooder and it'll get what it needs, some people put rocks in the waterer so the chicks dont lay their head in it and drown. Sometime i put rocks sometimes not, never had a problem before.
