Just got a call a couple of hours ago that they want to ship my 25 chicks today instead of later...I only live 3 hours away so they should be on the morning truck at the PO. Was doing a final temperature check and scrubbing waterers when they called so I am good to go! Perfect timing. I didn't know how I was gonna last two more days anyhow!

If it's a major postal hub, someone will be there tomorrow. I hope mine come from McMurray's tomorrow, they were shipped today. Last year I picked my chicks up at our major postal hub on Easter. Yep, they called me at 8 am Easter morning!

Mine are shipping in the morning! I am about 12 hours away, so should be here on Tuesday a.m. I ordered 25 of the bantam surprise, I am excited!

They explained to me that someone has to be there to check in the mail from the truck and when there were live birds they would call me. Keep your fingers crossed. Ideal has a deal with the post office in Waco to check chicks in for shipment on Sundays and holidays. I hope they are correct. I would hate for them to sit till Tuesday morning.
