Hi guys, i have 3 bovane browns and for the 4 out of the last 6 mornings ive gone in to collect eggs and noticed theyve laid 4 !
Perfectly formed too, not soft shelled etc
Just curious if this is ok ( or should i be happy?)
Did read up and saw that their cycle is 27 hours or something so was curious to know why this is happening

It's not "normal" but I have heard of hens laying 2 eggs a day. I think it would best if you just send me that chicken, you know, for safety reasons, of course.

Lol, This same chicken ( im presuming its the same one) did actually lay 3 eggs last week !
The later 2 were soft shelled etc..which seriously worried me but shes been fine since Until this laying twice a day episode but as i said they seem perfectly normal eggs to me.
They are only 9 months old so i guess its just her system trying to get it right
If it continues maybe i have a Superhero hen !!
