3 very cute chicks doing well, but I have 1 very noisy chick, who cheeps very loud every time I leave the room, and when it starts to get dark too....the other 2 chicks are happy and asleep under heat plate why is this one chick being like this?? They are in a see through plastic border so they can see us all the time, I tried putting a towel over when it started to get dark and she decided to be even louder. She is very happy when I am holding her, it’s like she wants attention? Any advise please....thanks

Maybe play with her and tired her out. Also maybe try sitting by the brooder until she falls asleep and slowly walk away and see what happens. Havent been in this situation before but it might help. Hopefully someone can give u better advise 😁😁

Feels like I have a baby again. 🤣🤣 I got her out and rocked her to sleep and put her back in and all is quiet, I done the same last night too. Am I going crazy or is this normal chick stuff??? 🤣🤣🤣 can’t believe how loud their cheeks can get! X

Lol if u can try one night without rocking her too sleep and ik this is probally harder for u than it is for the chick😂😂. But if she starts getting into the routine that ur not always going to be there than maybe she will understand ya know

I put my needy ones under a cloth like how a momma chicken would be sitting on them. Only thing I've found that works lol good luck!

Thanks, and how exactly do you put them under the cloth? I think she definatly needs the extra security,

I tuck it up under them so they cant squirm out. Burrito that baby nice and snug! With a heat source and it should quiet down. I only do it at night and they are usually still under there in the morning! Good luck!
