I got my order from Ideal this morning. One of my chicks is now not doing so well. I found her being trampled by the others. She was sprawled out. I took her out and she wouldn't move or open her eyes. I set her on the floor where it was cooler and she opened her eyes a bit. I gave her some water from a dropper and she perked up a bit. She won't stand or move around. She just keeps chirping and chirping. She also has really runny poop. It was mostly white with a bit of black in it. The others seem to be going over and pecking her. I don't want to take her out because she will get cold, but don't want to leave her in there. If this keeps up I will put her in her own brooder.
Can anyone add anything to help me out here. I obviously would hate to see her die if I can saver her.
Does this happen a lot? Maybe she is just tired?
