3 day old chick problem

I got my first order of chicks today. Of the 35 chicks one is noticeably smaller and uncoordinated. Stumbles, falls over, then falls asleep with its head down and bum up in the air. I've separated him have him in a cooler with a heat lamp and his own water and food. He only seems to eat and drink when I physically take him to each one. He is pooping. The water has electrolytes and probiotics. I gave him a dropper full of sugar water as well. He sleeps, then gets up and runs like a mad man, stumbles and falls, then I show him food and water then he goes back to sleep.

Is there more I can or should do?

Do you have pine chips for him to walk on?

No he's on paper towels but I have pine pellets in the brooder. It's not a footing issue it looks more neurological. At one point he fell over and went all stuff with his legs, almost like a little seizure.

Oh my! I'm sorry you're having issues I'm a first time chicken mom so I wish I had more advice. I had a small rooster when I got my chicks at one day old and he slept pretty flat or on his side legs sticking out. I would think he was dead. He seemed tired and His butt pasted up alot. I had to clean it and put Vaseline on it but he made it. He's almost 4 months old.

Depending on age.... he might be like one of the last ones hatched and still needs time.....
Putting him by himself he's going to get really lonely...... maybe you could put a couple of the
slowest ones in with him.....? My chick's get lonely when by themselves....so if they aren't sick,
I put other's in with them to keep them company..... =)

I just am not sure he's not sick. Right now he sleeping in the corner pushed up against the sides on his tippy toes. I don't have anything other than the 34 others to go by but none of the other ones exhibit any of these problems. They all shipped Monday so they can't be that far off on age.

Oh and I tried putting two others in with him but they walked all over him and pecked at him

Do you have any small stuffed animal's you could put with him....
he might snuggle up to it....and think it's his mom....
Maybe give him some pedialite (I don't know how that's spelled...) oops...
Don't give up on him or her...! =)

Anyone else have an idea? I started syringe feeding yogurt, and that had him pecking at his food on his own for like 10 seconds, before he was off to sleep.

I want to give him the best chance but I also don't want to keep Jim suffering.
