3 days to go and broody off nest!!

I don't know what to do, my broody has been sitting on 6 RIW, she is confined, but goes outside 2 times a day. I went in for afternoon chores and she was off the nest, which is not unusual because she wants to go outside. But, the eggs were not warm and one egg was opened, only the shell was left what do I do?? I have eggs in my bator, but they are to hatch on Monday, and these ones are to hatch on Friday. Now what??

keep us informed....i have no clue either! except....maybe...sit on them yourself?

seriously though, i know this is nothing to laugh at! u obviously can't put them in the bator with different hatch dates....i hope someone answers that has had this experience. no other broody hens around?

I went out today and she was off it, it was cool, so I am taking a chance and putting it in my bator, I will candle it and see what it looks like on Thursday.

hhmm... I am by no means an expert, this is my first hatch with an incubator but I am doing a staggered hatch and the hatch days are only two days apart...I think it would be fine in the bator with the others. Just be quick when you go to remove the new babies and I think it will be ok according to what I have read on here. That vacant egg is a little strange though, I wonder what happened.

according to candle pictures, there is still a very large air sac, so I don't think that it made it past day 12 or 13. Considering it is to hatch on Friday, I will candle one more time tonight when I check on my batch in the bator. It is a bummer because all the eggs I got not one made it, and it was expensive!!
