Thank you!! I just made some soupy egg yolk and crumble mix I was going to syringe into her and when she tasted it I could tell she liked it, so I put the dish right in front of her and she went to town!! I put down a little scratch and grit in front of her and she's pecking at it right now!! :celebrate Should I hold off on doing the tube? Should I keep doing the droppers of electrolyte? I have the water dish in front of her but she didn't drink any but I had just gave her 2 ml's.

I think you can hold off tubing as long as she keeps eating and pooping.

Hello. I've been nursing an 8 week old bantam that I suspect had coccidiosis by following this thread. After 2 days, she seemed to be doing well. Even started eating crumbles if I held the bowl up to her, and stood up and moved around some this morning. I really thought she was going to be back to 100% by tom. But I found her dead this afternoon, only an hour or so after offering her more food. Could I have over fed her?

I'm sorry to hear that. Mine was eating too when I would hold the food in front of her. Was it just crumbles she was eating? I think if she willingly took it then you most likely did not over feed her. Mine went paralyzed on one side and when I checked her at night I realized she was infested with poultry mites. I never saw them during the day because they come out at night. Might be worth checking your birds over really carefully to make sure there are no external parasites. The damage was to bad for my one sick girl and I had to put her down. And now I have to treat everyone.
