I lost 3 chickens in a 4 days. I had no idea what was going on. No bloody diarrhea & nothing I could see externally. I sent one off for a necropsy. Tested positive for coccidiosis. I'm treating the entire flock with Corid. But I have 1 who I don't think he's drinking the water. He's standing off to himself a bit. Which is what I noticed with the first couple that died. Is there a concentrated dosage I could give him by dropper? I want to make sure he's getting the medicine, so he doesn't die.

0.024% is the dosage you want to give him, you don't have to do a dropper with a concentration, just use a small syringe and squirt it into the back of the mouth, they'll swallow, Corid (amprolium) starts to work almost instantly after it's in.

Do you have the powder or liquid?

Liquid Corid drench is 0.02 ml undiluted Corid per 100 grams orally. Give once a day for 1-3 days in addition to medicated water.

Medicated water should have 9.5 ml per gallon for 5 days, then 2.5 ml per gallon for 7-14 days. Make fresh daily.

Powdered Corid drench. Mix 1/2 teaspoon powder with 10 ml of water. Stir well and give 0.07 ml per 100 grams orally once a day for 1-3 days. Give in addition to medicated water.

Medicated water should have no less than 1.5 teaspoons powder per gallon for 5 days, then 1/3 teaspoon for 7-14 days.
