3 eggs at once?

My hen will be 16 weeks tomorrow and i just witnessed her lay 3 eggs in about 3 min. Anyone one else have this happen? I hear its super rare?

I've had a chicken lay 3 eggs in two days, 2 of them about an hour apart. 3 eggs in 3 minutes is crazy though!

I can't get over her laying at 16 weeks. That is awesome! Mine never start until about 23 weeks.

Rightt! And it was this evening around 7..will they usually lay in the morning? Or pretty much anytime?

Right..this is my first time raising chickens so ive read alot but didnt expect an egg this early. She literally had 3 right in a row! I was freaking lol

Usually they lay in the morning, but there really isn't a set time. Sometimes they lay in the afternoon, sometimes more in the evening. Sometimes they even lay while they're sleeping on the roost! They try to hold the egg until morning and then it just drops out.

She's an Asian black..haa yess i bet she does! But the crazy part is, is that her comb and wattle are still kinda that pailish pink color..my other 5 are swelled and super red?
