3 eggs in 1 day?

Lacy laid 3 eggs today. One this morning. One while free ranging. This one was snatched as soon as it was laid by her sister, who broke the shell & ate it. The shell. Then one this afternoon while swimming in their pool.
Is this normal? She's 5 months & started laying 3 weeks ago, every morning.
But 3 in one day?
Need the sages to help me understand this one.

This is false. It's not uncommon for a hen to have glitches where she lays multiple - but most often one is soft-shelled or otherwise incomplete.

You're probably right. But I've only read of cases where they laid two a day, not three.

I have Ducks, not Chickens.
Also Lacy did not lay this morning. I expected that, after yesterday.
She may become an afternoon layer. If that is the case, I hope her egg isn't taken & eaten by her sister again.
