3 eggs with pips......Day 21 (PICS)

Aww, how terribly sad for you! I hope you get enough from your hatch to start over

THIS is like the most exciting part of the whole hatch. I have this love/hate relationship with suspence.

Yeah, Ladybug!!!!! I'm still all excited about my hatch and it was several days ago!!!! Hope you continue to have good luck with this batch.

That's crummy to lose your laying flock - I lost most of mine several months ago when a raccoon tore one of my pens apart - thank God for hardware cloth and cement!!!!

What kind of chicks are you hatching right now???

I really do not know what they all are. I bought from a local guy who has an assortment. I know there were some white leghorns, EE cause i had one blue egg and it hatched so excited. I think he had RIR and other brown layers. I had one more hatch and 2 more looking like they will soon. I am getting some delawares and silkies eggs this weekend from Poison Ivy for 2nd batch. I can not wait

I wonder if leaving the already hatched ones in the incubator and communicating with the ones still in the shell with encourage the ones still hatching to hurry up and get out so they can join the party, too. Congrats on all of the new chicks!

I had one batch of chicks that hatched and was pecking the pipped hole on the eggs of the ones trying to get out. It was cute the one in egg would peep and then the hatched chick would peck it like it was telling it to hurry up it was lonely.
