3 hatched so far

I've been up all night and I have to be to work at 7:30.... Three ducks hatched. One is full of energy a little fawn/white runner. The other fawn/white one was having trouble getting out of the egg even though it was wide open. I put a warm paper towel around it... but its little head was stuck.... He came out on his own...in my hand but his neck looks a little crooked. The black runner came out... but is kind of gooey.. brown stuff on his beak... and very tired... I hope he makes it. Another has zipped, but nothing yet... It is odd that the black one would be goey, but not the fawn/white... The energetic one was looking for someone to play with... but his little buddies don't have the energy.. : ( I will post pictures when they dry off.

How many more are you expecting to hatch?

Five have hatched. Three in the Brooder... 2 drying off in the incubator and two more hatching... Duckies everywhere. I will send pictures when they are all dry.... I'm so happy!!!!!! They already have their own little personalities...... the one little duckies neck straightened out..... Yeah!!!!

Seven have hatched... Yeah.... The last two hatched at exactly the same time..... I used the egg carton method... and it is cute how the Ducks that had already hatched crawled back up on the egg carton and sit in the little egg cups and encouraged the ones that hadn't hatched yet....
