. Have a happy 2015! I would think that this is completely normal, as hens do not produce an egg everyday and this means two hens are laying eggs everyday. Unless it's one specific chicken not laying then this is normal.

Hello and welcome. I average 2 eggs from my 3 girls but sometimes I get 1 or 3. It's a good amount for me because I don't usually eat more than a dozen a week. If you want more eggs....get more chickens!
