3 hens + 4 months = 16 hens and a rooster

Picked up the last 7 chickens being added to my flock today! Ahh good ol chicken math. It started with 3 Rescue hens in sept and 3 chicks from an old coworker (we lost one sadly ). The coworker who gave me chicks then could no longer care for her flock of 12 anymore due to health reasons so I agreed to take 3-4 hens (I went home with 5). Upon picking them up my bf decided he loves them all and later that night we told my friend that we’d take the whole flock including the rooster we couldn’t find anyone to take. Now they’re all finally on the same property again.

I’ll try to get more pics tomorrow.

5 of them are his babies. Only one of the brown ones isn’t which is the other brown ones’ mother the grey one is one of my silkie mix’s baby with trex
