My hens (9 total) only lay on one single nest. There are 4 others nests which looks similar or even better than that 1 they pick to lay their eggs. No big problem with that but 3 days ago one of the hens became broody and 2 days ago another one became broody and yesterday a thrid one also became broody.
Yea there are three broody hens on the same nest. All the eggs others hens lay are there also (I assume something like 18 eggs).
I don't know what to do...
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Do you want babies? Sounds like the hens are willing to share the nest, so they have a plan of action.

Yes i do want them (sorry i forgot to write).
But my point is: based on that situation should I keep them there or try to move some of the eggs to others nests and see if 2 of them would leave? Also, what will happen when the chicks born? Will they fight for them?

Kamus, it is always best to seperate the broody mom and her eggs from the general flock. Hens laying extra eggs in the nest causes different hatch times and also too many for her to cover. Complications from other hens when the peeps hatch is also a real concern.

If your space is limited and are unable to seperate each broody with her own quiet spot, providing water and feed for all, the results could have some disapointment in the confusion amoung everyone and broken eggs along the way to add more problems with bacteria in the nest...just some thoughts, I would consider.

You could collect and consume these eggs until you are prepared for what is to come, cause that is prolly more important....
