I am so happy she is improving!

Jules is truly a remarkable bird!. Thank you for the picture. She looks so comfortable on the pillow . Everything ya'll have been through.....you are very special to her too!.

Her oil gland made have been damaged, but stress can also slow down the oil production. She should be back to preening herself in a few more days. You can feed her cat kibble with fish oil, as a treat to help.

Did you tell the neighbors that something attacked her? I worry.... that whatever is was.....may get their ducks too.

We have a lot of pets but they are more family to us so they are definitely spoiled.

I'm glad to hear it may just be stress that's slowed the oil down. She has been preening more. The vet called to check on her today, he was so pleased she's doing we'll and very surprised. She is a miracle. To be as strong as she is after being left alone at just a day old WE are lucky to have found her though, she makes everyday special.

The neighbors are aware. Their ducks are much larger and meaner than Jules though. I think they also have the instinct she was lacking.

I will keep u all updated. We just bought her a diaper so she can roam around the house more and terrorize our dogs can't wait til he's healed enough to wear it.
