3 month splash australorp, weird feathers?

Under her vent, wings, and the back of the neck. Does not hurt to check. 🤷‍♀️
Well we have our answer. She does have mites! A couple other chickens she hangs out with are starting to get these funny feathers as well. I have diatomaceous earth on hand. I also read I can spray down coop areas with water, cooking oil and dawn mixed together.
Is there something I need to do topically for all my chickens, or just the visibly affected ones, plus treating the coop areas?
I have about 30 birds right now. They have 3 separate roost areas.

Treat all of them that live together. Some Permethrin dust for chickens and permethrin spray for the coop. Or you could also spray birds and coop. Make sure to not get any inside their vents. You could site search some other people who have dealt with mites. DE will not work. Glad you checked!

Okay, I will grab some permethrin as TSC in the next hour. Thank you!!

I hatched a group of chicks from my full blue australorp parents a few months ago. I got a handful of splashes naturally. They all look the same, except this girl! It's like her feathers want to frizzle but don't. Is this a thing? I have bred over a hundred chicks from these parents and never seen this in an offspring.
It looks like a genetic aberration. It happens. Wonder what her offspring look like. It would be interesting find out!
