Actually Appenzeller Spitzhaubens are carried at many hatcheries, so if your feed store bought chicks from a hatchery there is a good chance you received one

They all look like pullets! The crested one looks like an Appenzeller Spitzhauben. The orange one looks like a Black Tailed Buff Japanese Bantam. The blue one looks like a game bird mix

Looking back, x2 on the Spitzhauben. Lol I didn't recognize it in juvenile colors but if it's not a mutt I would definitely say AS is a good possibility.

Do the Japanese Bantams develop early? Mine is pretty red around the top so I'm starting to think cockerel.

The bantam does not like me. HE avoids me at all cost. I had to corner him in the coop! And it still wasn't a great pic. I think he's about 3 months. And a cockerel. Maybe.

I'd say a cockerel for sure looking at the comb and wattle development

Two black ones look cockerel to me, the middle one looks pullet.

Sorry, I should've clarified! The black one, Sugar, is definitely a male. Oh, the crowing!! It started about a week ago and I'm loosing my marbles. Lol. The bantam, Princess Peach (my 9 yr old named it :0) I'm not so sure about. I really thought cockerel. What makes you say pullet? I couldn't get a clear shot of it's face, but its pretty red already.

The light colored one, pic in the middle, don't see any redness in the comb plus the comb isn't pronounced.
