If chicks: there is a reason most hatcheries will not ship less that 20-25 chicks. Some of the newer hatcheries do: but not those that have been around for a long time. They need the warmth.

If started chicks-adults: then know that right now it is too hot to ship birds.

Yes, the post took too long; but the above still stands.

the birds were hatched tuesday and didn't arrive till friday so that makes them 3 days old when they died

MyPetChicken ships Express Mail. Express Mail has certain delivery time guarantees. If they took too long delivering them, then the Post Office should refund your shipping charges.
