I have 3 Peckins from TSC. One has a raspy little quack and the other two have a louder stronger quack. The two which I believe are females hang together since I brought them home. Is that common that two of the same sex would stay together or if I had two males and a female would they stick together the same?

Yes, females can stick together. My son has three now 2-year old pekins from Tractor Supply. His drake is a gentleman and looks out for the girls, lets them eat first and get the best treats.

Does yours with a raspy little voice have a curled drake feather

Yes hens tend to stick together, but drakes not as much. The only drakes I have had that stayed together were two brothers raised together from the start.

Awe I LOVE that... not yet. They are still young. They are maybe a little over 7 weeks old...I do notice that the one I think is a drake is a gentleman of sorts now that you've said that

I have a pekin drake [a crested with special needs] and a rescued muscovy that are tightly bonded. they go everywhere together, and if I take one away for any reason the other immediately follows. My other two rescued muscovy hang around, and are almost always in the same part of the garden as the bonded two, but are not as physically close

I previously had two rescued pekin drakes [now rehabbed and rehomed to a wonderful forever home] that I assume were brooded together before being dumped as juveniles by the roadside. They were tightly bonded and did everything together -- to the exclusion of my other rescues who they clearly disliked

They are adorable! It definitely happens I just do not see it as much as I do with my females.

Awe how sweet... I guess they can be as bratty as chickens. I will have to see how they all act. I'd hate for any to be left out
