Hi I have 4 waterfowl 2 ducks 1 drake 1 goose.
Both my two ducks are having fertilized eggs…
In the same nest. 1 duck sits on them all day and kicks out some of the other ducks eggs. Then in the morning, I see the other duck put all the eggs back in. + my goose is pretty aggressive even towards me but I still love him.
So if he’s aggressive I don’t know if he will accept the ducklings?:idunno

Good morning, and welcome to BYC. Co brooding frequently results in low % hatches due to hens doing exactly what you describe - sometimes it works fine. Keep an eye on the goose/gander. He/she may adopt the ducklings or may possibly be aggressive towards them.

If the birds free range all might work out. In an enclosure, the opposite is likely. I'd separate the goose/gander from the rest when ducklings are due; just to be safe.
