We have one that sounds like she kinda growls....she’s healthy as can be but started “growling “ right before she started laying....it’s kinda nice, I always know when she’s coming up behind me to peck my ankle!!!!

1. I don't see single comb. I believe she's an EE. Close up of her comb would help to differentiate.

2. Normal chicken noises. She's just telling everyone about her day.

It appears she is just talkative. I have had some like that. One I call chatty Kathy, she is a talker.
