3 roos to 12 hens

i have 2 9 month old bantams and 1 4 month ld all tend to mate with hens and get along so far is 12 hens enuf or should i get more? 2 bantys are brothers.

Sounds fine to me. I have one roo in with 22 hens and all my hens are tore up and I have a 90 percent fertility with my eggs. It all depends on the roo

You'll just have to go by the condition of your hens. How much space you have is also an issue. Your responsibility to your hens is to be sure they are safe and non stressed. Overmating leads to stress which leads to all sorts of bad things in birds. If they start getting bare backs or there is a lot of screaming/resistance to mating, you'll need to pull a roo or two out and set up another pen for them. Roos usually do just fine with each other if there are no hens to fight over, so keep that in mind down the road.
