3 Roosters - 5 Hens

Yes deff get rid of or seperate at least 2 roos:-( SOrry...I have a meat coop pen-I have 25 meatied in there and as the roosters POP up I put them in there with them to grow them out for processing...

I was planning on using that pen for some meaties this fall. I have recently turned my guineas out of it. The Roos are now 5+ months old and getting full of themselves. I will given them each 1 week with the girls and let them decide which roo they want to keep.

I suggest one rooster per 12 to 14 hens. Get rid of any extras or like someone said put them in seperate pens and use for your breediing program if you plan on raising your own flock.

I only have 5 hens. Maybe I could let one roo out for 3 hrs per day to accomodate the ratio?????????
