So I've had 3 thermometers all in a row on a bookshelf for a week. They always read within .1 degree of each other. I put all 3 in the same incubator. They're not even close!

If it's any consolation, I share your pain. And I only have two at the moment to drive me up the wall! Same problem, just less of it!

Hope we both get our thermometer problems straightened out quickly! If only this problem were as easy to solve as the hygrometer issues of calibration!

I have 2 incubators going and 4 different readings. Ugh! My 1st incubator seems to be fine. I had only one thermometer in it and at day 14. All chicks seem to be developing fine. We'll see very shortly. I ended up adding 2nd thermometer (don't ask why) shouldn't have done it now I'm stressing out.

Just started 2nd incubator and both are not even close. It's so frustrating. I'm not sure how to calibrate.

Good luck! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Glad I'm not the only one! I did notice 1 was a LOT lower in the bator then the other 2. I raised it up and now it's a little closer.

Why is it that these things work great BEFORE the eggs go in? Then as soon as the incubation starts they get all crazy????
