Hi,

I have a flock of around 15 hens and 4 rooster, they were raised together from day 5. Now they are of age around 6-7 months. From few days I see a strange behavior lets call my roosters A, B, C and D. A,B,C whenever they got chance they try to fight with D! D now stays away from the flock.

A,B,C never fights with each other but only with D and alway fight as a group... whats going on!!! Can someone please share his experience about it.

Expect the in fighting to get worse... as they continue to mature and want exclusive mating rights.

It isn't going to get better for the boy who is hiding now. It sounds like an uncomfortable existence.

They aren't yet hens and roosters but rather pullets and cockerels... which are a bunch of hormone raging idiots. They may even decide they are frisky enough to go after you.

Once you remove the current target... a new target will develop.

Either get a plan for removal of some or most of them boys or continue to watch the drama unfold escalate in my experience. :hmm

A peaceful flock is a treasure to behold.

Good luck! :fl:fl
