3 week old bantam Cochins help me sex me....

Awe so cute! I will be sure to keep updating pics. The guessing game is so fun!

I get so attached so quickly, so it is nerve racking for me!! But we have decided we are ok with whatever works out.. we have four 6 month old bantams, so if we get an extra from these two, it'll be a bonus, but I hope they both get to be best buddies!!

Here are various pics of cochins I just scrolled through, it makes me think that they are still in the running as pullets..

Right now they all appear to be pullets. Hatchery birds are different in development than those from private breeders though. To me, those combs and wattles are crazy red. However, at 7 weeks I would expect them to be much larger.

I think theyre still girls.. the boys I've seen had that size comb at 2-3 weeks old. Remember the cochin females still have a good sized comb and waddles, so i wouldn't be worried from here on out. BTW, they are sooo cute!!

Combs should be yellow for a 10 week old pullet. I'd also expect them to be larger for a cockerel though.

Thank you!! Oh I so hope so! I also got 3 D’uccle’s when I got the 3 Bantam Cochins. And all three D’uccle’s are for sure roosters. I definitely don’t need 3 more Roos!!

Oh man, this girl makes me think maybe they are Roos! How unlucky would that be to get 6 out of 6 Roos!? (I also got 3 D’uccle’s at the same time and they are all roosters for sure.)
