My 3 week old chick who is separated because of a cold is runty but also perky and alert. I just noticed his little comb and beak and dry and bleeding . Can anyone tell me what to do?

Aloe Vera lotion is always soothing to the skin...
>>>being "runty" I would suggest you give a good general supplement ... AviaCharge 2000 is the one I usually recommend as it is a complete nutritional/vit supplement (you can order online from McMurray or strombergs) ... if you are unable to get that the look at your feed store for one.
You can also give POLYVISOL Enfamil (A childrens liquid vitamin) three drops in beak once a day for a week then taper off the next, as this will provide the essential A-B-D vitamins which are so commonly needed and you can also go to your petstore for baby parrot handfeeding formula (this is a powder that you add water too) and mix that with its feed to concentrate the nutrition .
This is important as malabsorption of nutrients will occur to one degree or another whenever a bird is ill and this results in deficiencies which can complicate the original illness.
If you are unable to provide any of the above options then you can always offer free choice live culture (plain non-flavored) yogurt and scrambled egg yolk (cooked) through its feed .
