3 week old chick ate skink!!! Harmfull??

My 3 week old barred rock chick just ate a skink, the ones you normally find under rocks around the house. It was medium size, maybe pinky size?
Im super worried right now because its crop is huge, and it keeps opening its mouth and shaking its head

HAVE I ESSENTIALLY KILLED MY CHICK???

Skinks probably would not hurt a chicken as long as they have granite chick grit available to help with digesting grass and bugs. Chickens also can eat mice and frogs.

Hes only 3 weeks old though.
Last time i checked, he was doing ok so I think he’ll be fine.

Do you have pics of him? He’s probably fine, just make sure he doesn’t act too weird. He’s doing all the weird adjustments and yawning because he feels like he ate too much.

I think more like the Skink was the one that lost out!

you cant really tell in the photo but his crop was huge. He seems to be ok now, pecking away at everything again haha
