Hi everyone! You can call me zaza (yes, I know, it sounds weird but its my childhood nickname.) I'm an owner of two house chicks. I'm new to chicks, the first time I got one was when i was six years old and they were colored chicks. Sadly, they were cooked after forty five days. I didn't eat lunch that day. I'm not exactly an expert at breeds, I don't even know the breed of my own chicks. They have yellow fur and their feathers are white, if you guys can tell me what breed they are that would be nice! I love raising them honestly, they're currently almost a month old, two days left until they turn that age. They haven't grown larger combs yet and I don't know when they're supposed to grow them. I think they're both females? Taking care of them is more leisure than a chore for me. Other than that, I love drawing and writing (specifically poems.) That's all!

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
At 4 weeks old it might be difficult to determine what breed they are. And it will also be difficult to tell you whether or not they are pullets or cockerels until they are fully feathered. They may be Leghorns or they may be Cornish crosses. Hopefully for you they are Leghorns. They also need a properly sized and ventilated predator-proof coop and run outdoors for them to have maximum health. Have you already started to build your coop?
