3 week old chick not feathering??

I've had several chicks which have been slow to feather. They eventually catch up but always look odd until they do. Don't worry about it unless you're thinking about breeding them. In that case, you might want to keep this one's eggs separated because the slow-feathering gene is passed on. It's recessive, I believe, but it'll pop up again in his or her progeny.

I have a teeeeeny tiny lavender Orpington who isn’t feathering out either, it’s almost 3 weeks old. About the same size and development of my almost two week old Barnevelders (or half the size of its hatchmates). Absolutely no signs of FTT so far though 🤞🏼
