3 week old chick ??

My daughter has some 3 week old chicks and we noticed today that one of them has a outside toe that is growing sideways.When it roost on your hand it only grabs on with 2 toes. It is eating and drinking and walks around without any problem. Should we worry about this and is there anything that can be done? Please help it is really making my daughter worry. This is the first time for us raising chickens.

Can you post a picture? Sounds like its just one of those things that happens. One legged chicks have been born and they are fine!! Tell your daughter not to worry. It can be his "lucky toe" kinda like Nemo and his "lucky fin"
