3 week old overweight Cornish Rock - I believe has broken leg(s)

I would also encourage you to post about her progress.
Many people accidentally bring home cornish cross chickens from the feed store, thinking they are getting lovely white birds for eggs and pets.
Yes, it would have been better if they had done some research into what different chick breeds look like, and they may have avoided this mistake, but anyone that comes here or turns to anyone for help is interested in fixing their ignorance, not getting bashed for asking. What's done is done, time to move on and learn.

So, it will be wonderful to see more people with experience share their stories and methods, if there is a way to raise this breed to be healthy and happy birds for longer than the typical butchering point!
I would never encourage anyone that wants a long-lived pet chicken to get this breed on purpose, but for those that get them by accident, let this be a resource for education.

Brilliant words indeed.

Then step out. You have no business here. You have made your views heard. We appreciate where you are coming from, but you need to appreciate where others are coming from.
Ummmm...... did I ever say that I didn't "appreciate" where others are coming from?
Or even that I dodn't give a crap or even think about it?

I respect your views! I just have a strong opinion about it.

I already admitted I was wrong. What more do you want!?!????

With a little luck the OP will have a meat bird that lives for several years and it is up to them as to how much effort they want to put into saving it. I've been there and done that, so I know I would euthanize, but it is a very personal decision for many. I so hope that the OP will give us updates as she progresses or deteriorates, either way, it will help others learn.

I believe the best advice is that everyone has agreed to disagree. I don't believe any comment/advice was intentionally hurtful, but unfortunately when we are on the other side of screen, often words /emotions come out wrong.

Yes,problems/issues in our personal lives, often do reflect how we respond to others. A stressful situation is very hard to deal with and perhaps we may come across as critical to others when this was not really the intent.

Deep breath and calm down. Hurtful words are never helpful and cannot be taken back,as the damage has already been done.

I apologize for my frustrated "sheesh", though it seemed tame at the time. Nobody knows what someone else is going through, even face to face, let alone on an anonymous forum like this. Lets not be enemies. We're all the same in being fairly kooky about chickens, right? The rest of the world will not get us, so we should make an extra effort to get each other.
