This baby is the runt of the litter. It’s 20F here on a good day and the baby also had something wrong with its eye a week ago. It’s eye wasnt open fully and still isn’t. The eye is only half open now. But I’m pretty sure it’s litter mates have pulled out almost all of its fur. I have not brought the mother and litter inside because I don’t have a space for them. But should I keep this baby separate and inside? Or leave it with its mates? It is eating some pellets but I’m sure it still needs moms milk. What can/ should I do? Right now I have the baby inside with me until I can figure something out.

Edited to add: his hair is falling out. I was just handling him and it just came out on my hands. And his bad eye is a little gunky. Pictures of his eye are at the end.

I would definitely suggest seeing a vet or exotics vet for this little one. It looks like he's got a lot of issues going on and likely needs antibiotics and other medications.

Hope your little guy recovers soon!

This is just a comment. It may sound harsh but poor doers are poor doers. In my experience, with very few exceptions, in spite of all the care and money I may have spent on them they still never did do well. It is up to you to decide if this bunny is worth it. Sorry.

I’ll see if I can get my vet out here to check him out. I have ivermectin though. Would I be able to treat him myself at all? I can’t see anything on him but if it’s mites I wouldn’t. None of the other rabbits are losing hair either.
