You can't treat him if you don't know what it is.

Most everyone here is saying it probably has mites. Using ivermectin isn’t going to hurt it from what I have been reading. But if I had a chicken that was presenting with symptoms of an illness that was probably that illness but I didn’t know for sure I’d still treat for that illness. I emailed my vet and am going to follow up with them tomorrow. Just to be sure. Thank you for your input though.
